The California Energy Commission has recently announced that a Staff Workshop on Residential Heating Ventilation and Cooling Measures and Acceptance Test Technician Certification Provider Requirements for the 2019 Standards will be held in Sacramento on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Why This Is Important

The California Energy Commission will hold this 2017 pre-rulemaking staff workshop for the 2019 Standards update that will include a presentation and discussion of proposed residential Heating Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) measures. Specific HVAC measures include residential quality HVAC and small duct high velocity systems. This workshop will also include a presentation and discussion of proposed changes to the Acceptance Test Technician Certification Provider (ATTCP) requirements. As a representative of the HVAC market, your participation in this workshop will provide the CEC with direct and public feedback on proposed HVAC measures and ATTCP requirements.

Public Comment 

CEC Staff will accept oral comments during the workshop. Comments may be limited to three minutes per speaker. Any comments may become part of the public record in this proceeding. Written comments are also accepted. The comment period for this workshop ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017. See the Docket for more information.

California Energy Commission staff will conduct a workshop to gather stakeholder input on the development of the 2019 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Standards). The workshop will be held on:
