Minimize

This committee serves the entire Western HVAC Performance Alliance and all its committees and subcommittees by providing guidance and expertise in issues of branding and marketing.

As such, the Marketing Committee serves all four goals of the Performance Alliance committees:

  • Goal 1: Improve Code Compliance
  • Goal 2: Quality HVAC Installation and Maintenance
  • Goal 3: Whole-Building Design
  • Goal 4: New HVAC Technologies and System Diagnostics

Following are examples of Strategies associated with the goals that are potential strategies to be addressed by the Marketing Committee:

  • Goal 2 Strategy 2-1: Create a statewide Quality Installation and Maintenance (QI/QM) brand and/or align with a national brand that will be attached to systems/installations/contractors that meet quality standards.
  • Goal 2 Strategy 2-2: Launch a consumer marketing and education campaign to support the brand and stimulate market demand.
  • Goal 3 Strategy 3-1: Aggressively promote whole building design concepts that improve the overall thermal integrity of new and existing structures, including possibly piloting targeted programs.
  • Goal 4 Strategy 4-3: Accelerate market penetration of advanced technologies by HVAC industry promotions and updating/expanding current utility programs to include the new technologies as appropriate.
